Q: Can I make a copy of a catalog for a friend or family member?

A: Yes, but It cannot be used for any type of commercial use outside of ShootersCatalog.com. See Legal Stuff & Prior Written Permission for more info. The catalogs in this digital format are Copyright © 2000-2001

Q: The graphics on the page don’t look very good what can I do?

A: The display setting on your computer may not be set properly. (below is how you can adjust this for widows 95 or better)

            1 click start

            2 click settings

            3 click control panel

            4 click display

            5 click settings tab

            6 color should be set to “16 bit”, “24 bit”, or “32 bit true color”, the higher the better

            7 screen area should be set to no less then 800 X 600. 1024 X 768 is recommended.

Note: The display settings can only be as good as your monitor and your video card.

Note: The pages in the General Industry Catalog and Mini Catalogs are designed to be viewed at 100% only due to limited space on this web site. This means you cannot zoom in and zoom out on these pages like you can on the Color Catalogs. Though the resolution on the General Industry Catalog is not near as good as the Color Catalog it should still be readable at a zoom of 100% (the default).

Q: Can I print out the catalogs so I can read them without the computer?

A: Yes, be sure you see the Legal Stuff though. Adobe Acrobat Reader is designed to “blow up” or “reduce” the size of each catalog page to fit on your printer pages.

Q: Is there any way I can conserve ink when printing out catalog pages?

A: Yes, (for most printers)  when you click on print, a form will appear asking you how many copies you want as well as some other preferences, look for a "properties button" click it, another form will appear that is UNIQUE to your printer, somewhere on this form you will have an option to adjust intensity (make it print lighter or darker) adjust the intensity to lighter and this will conserve ink.

Q: Can I buy a gun at www.ShootersCatalog.com?

A: yes, you will need to see the FAQ page on www.ShootersCatalog.com to clarify the process, as it requires a FFL and always changing government regulations.

Q: My computer takes a long time to load pages is their anything I can do?

A: Your computer may have a slow internet connection. you can copy the .pdf files to your hard drive and open them from Adobe Acrobat Reader. If it is still slow you may have a slow hard drive, insufficient memory, or an older computer. You should consider buying a faster hard drive or upgrading you computer system. Remember, you can always print it out. Even if it is slow you can still view pages.
